Happy Easter weekend and thank you for stopping by my spot on the hop!
Don’t know what hop I am talking about? Well I am participating in a little [by little I mean 200+ participants] blog hop with some pretty great authors/bloggers who are all ponying up a prize at every stop. You wanna chance to win at other authors places? Why certainly just visit http://thebloghopspot.com/event-page/ and it will take you to all the stops on this fabulous blog hop.
But before you go make sure you read the rest of my post so see what pretties I have in store for one lucky winner!
I
don’t do the whole Easter bunny thing with my children because to be honest as a child the thought of a giant bunny entering my house freaked me the hell out lol. I do however make their baskets up every year and try to get them what they ask for in the basket (minus all the candy).
This year I actually went above what I normally do and got them an actual bunny to add to the growing pile that is their baskets already. This is a picture of Peter Cottontail Rabbit Becraft [can you tell the kids named him lol] and my middle daughter Katelynn. He seems to be adjusting well to all the attention being given to him by both myself and my kids.
So what did you get your kids for easter? Don’t have any kids…then what is the one thing you wish the “Easter Bunny” would bring you?

Ooh, a basket full of money would be joy to wake up to!
Oh okay, after seeing the cutey pie of a rabbit your daughter is holding, I might consider another kitty!
(the chocolate goes without saying, right?? lol)
Hoppy Easter, Drea x
Well if I could ask for anything I’d want a big brawny Highlander in a Kilt.
Since I know it won’t happen I’ll settle for anything chocolate and filled with raspberry. Thanks for the cute picture of your daughter and that cutie Bunny. Happy Easter.

We don’t buy gifts for Easter. If we did, we would probably get our kids a small toy for each of them. As for me, I would love some hot, naked men to clean my house. If I can’t have that, then I’ll go for white chocolate dipped strawberries.

You must always get chocolate bunnies and of course colored eggs. Now that they are older, they seem to think Easter is for presents.

Even though the chocolate bunnies have gotten smaller over the years, ( I end up eating 4 by myself), I still make mini baskets with a gift that suits each kid. One gets a movie video, another may get a book, and another may get a gift certificate. I just can’t give up the baskets!
I want the Easter Bunny to bring good health and more of my family…I don’t have kids so no gifts to buy them.
I hope you have a very Happy Easter.
I have five kids, but only one still at home, and she’s 22. If I could, I’d get her a basket, because I know she’d enjoy it, but I can’t afford it, being unemployed. She understands. If I should win your basket, we’d share it, like we share everything. We’re going to have a great Easter, hope you do too.

I sent my 24-year-old daughter an Easter care package. My son and his vegan girlfriend will be here so I went off to the store to buy Easter candy–guess what is impossible to find? Any candy a vegan to eat.! Even jelly beans have gelatin. Sigh. So I got her toys (she’s 26 but still…). M. S. Spencer
I am getting them baskets full of goodies specific to each kid. I fill their baskets myself. I love Easter!
Thank you for participating in the hop! Have a wonderful Easter!

My kids and grandkids always get a movie and a little bit of candy. I would like Gerard Butler in my basket this year…hey a girl can dream!!
proudarmymom32(at)yahoo(dot)com
I would just be happy with a basket of chocolate, but since I am not suppose to have caffeine anymore, I would settle for a solid milk chocolate bunny, that I could nibble on for a long time.

I’m content to just get chocolate or some kind of reeses chocolate item, I love reeses. I’m still indulging my inner child so getting a small gift in my basket makes me happy. Even so I’m still just content to have chocolate, getting chocolate strawberries sound really good too!

Drea honey, how do you do it girl. You are so busy! I did hit the damn button. We haven’t gotten the kids anything for Easter, Denny is still unemployed, but we may sneak down and get something for the 9 of them later tonight at wall mart. Tomorrow they have and easter agg hunt at church and at aunts Libby’s where we’ll go for Easter Dinner. Happy Easter to you all and keep the bunny safe.

My kids are all grown but I wish I’d receive an Easter basket full of Cadbury caramel eggs, chocolate covered strawberries and a stack of gift cards so I could buy a bunch of books. I lost all my books along with my home last May when an EF5 tornado decimated my hometown. So now I’m slowly building up a new library. Have a great Easter.

I don’t have any kids so I would have to say that I’d love for the Easter Bunny to bring me one of the hunky alpha males that I read about in so many romance novels OR … a book. LOL Maybe a gift card that would allow me to get more than one book. That would be awesome.
Happy Easter, and thank you for the giveaway!

My kids get a lot of candy and a book or two in their baskets. This year the oldest is off to college so he gets big kid things like a usb and a t shirt. Now I wouldn’t mind an Easter surprise for me but what I want wont fit in one of those little baskets.

I have 4 grown children…and between them…10 grandchildren and another on the way. So…I didn’t get the kids anything this year…one made it over for dinner. The others live out of town…and one of them and their family are in Florida for the holiday (wish I were too LOL!). I used to make the kids an Easter basket and stuff it with candy and gum…and their first shorts outfit for the summer. We used to deck out the grandkids for Easter from head to toe…until there got to be too many of them and we just couldn’t afford it anymore! So, Easter is just one of those holidays…we don’t get into gift giving. We exchange phone calls and whoever can make it to dinner…does. No biggie. Hoppy Easter…to you and yours! Thx for the giveaway!
