Guest Post: Jumping Genres by Lucy Felthouse

Today I want to talk a little about jumping genres, then I’ll give you a seriously saucy excerpt from my latest release, fem-dom mini-anthology, Punish Me Good.

So… jumping genres. I don’t do it on purpose, honest. I just like writing different sorts of stories and different kinds of characters. I write erotica and erotic romance (and yes, in my opinion, there’s a difference), then within those genres I pen contemporary, paranormal, straight, lesbian, bisexual, BDSM and now fem-dom. With both stories I didn’t set out to write kinky fem-dom stuff, it just kind of happened. In fact, for a while I purposely avoided writing BDSM stuff because I didn’t much enjoy writing it, whereas now I’m finding my feelings have changed. Perhaps it’s because I’ve realised that writing BDSM doesn’t mean that I have to go too hardcore, if I don’t want to. I can just dabble around the edges of the kink, without being too extreme – I’ll leave that to the experts
